Day 2 in Paradise

The next day we woke up and headed to the airport once again.  After being on the HUGE Delta plane the day before, we were a little scared when we had to walk out to this little plane.  I thought if one of our planes were going down, this would be the one.  There was so much turbulence in our 40 minute flight, I thought for sure I was going to die!!  But. . . I didn't and we landed safely in Kauai.  We heard multiple people say that Kauai was the prettiest island out of all of them, so we decided to spend most of our time there.  Everyone wasn't lying when they said this place was pretty because it was BEAUTIFUL!!

The girl at Enterprise recommended going to Dani's for breakfast.  I got their Loco Moco.  It was delicious!!  I was a little scared at first because I am very picky when it comes to weird food, but it was really good.  It was rice, hamburger, cheese, bacon, eggs smothered in brown gravy.  It was delicious!!  After breakfast we headed to our condo to get checked in.
The people at our condo were SO NICE!!  Our room wasn't ready yet, but they checked us all in and gave us beach towels and directed us to go site seeing.
Our lays were SO PRETTY!!  I loved them!!
Along our site seeing tour there was this random cave off the side of the road.  There were also all these vines hanging down everywhere.  Zac wanted to swing from a vine pretty bad, but he never did.  I told him leave the vines to Tarzan : )

On Kauai you can't drive around the whole island because of Napali Coast.  So, we drove to the most Northern part of the island to check it out.  The Northern part of the island is very green and wet and the Southern part of the island is more dry and dessert-ish.  I couldn't believe how green everything was. It's so amazing!!  Since our room wasn't ready we put down our beach towels and took a nap on the beach.  It was so relaxing.  Even though it was overcast it was still about 75 degrees.  It felt so good!!
On our way back to our condo we stopped at this scenic overlook.  These are all agricultural fields so help provide shelter and protection for many of their birds on the island.

The people from the condo called and told us our room was ready so we headed back to go get all checked in.  Our condo was right on the golf course.  It was so relaxing and beautiful!!

The pool alone reminded me of paradise : )
I had heard that Puka Dogs were delicious so we ventured out and found one for lunch.  They were really yummy. So far, I love all the Hawaiian food and culture. . . such an amazing place!!

That night we wanted to relax in the hot tub but there was a group of grandmas that were having relief society in the hot tub. . . okay not really but they were in there chatting away FOREVER!!  While we were waiting for them to get out we walked down the golf course to enjoy the view.

Such a peaceful and beautiful place!!  The grandmas never got out of the hot tub so we just went back and watched T.V. in our room.
