Holiday Fun

Instead of going bowling on Thanksgiving night like we usually do, we decided to go to the movies the next day together.  Grandpa loves Charlee Brown so we took him to the new Charlee Brown movie.  It was fun to be with the family, the movie on the other hand wasn't that great.  After the show Grandpa said to me, "well, they just don't make them like they used to" I just started to laugh.  He is so funny!!
Grandpa was playing with Jake.  It was so fun to watch them pretend box.  I just wish my picture didn't turn out blurry but Grandpa was moving too much ha ha

After the movies we headed down to Salt Lake to hang out with Daniel and Candace's family.  We ate at El Matador and then went and walked around the lights at Temple Square.  It was SO COLD, but it is always a fun family thing to do.

Happy Thanksgiving

The boys were so excited to wake up Thanksgiving morning to snow.  We didn't have to be up to our Thanksgiving dinner until 1:30 so the boys enjoyed the morning playing in the snow.  It was FREEZING outside but they didn't seem to mind.

We enjoyed a nice dinner at Jerry and Diana's with Brandje, Shawn, Dani, Scott and the girls.  Then we headed to my parents house to see the Rogers side of the family.  It was a nice and relaxing day.

The Rocks Won

Beckem came home from Daycare about three weeks ago with his front tooth chipped.  He told us he was chewing on rocks and it broke his tooth.  I thought it would be fine and for a few weeks he just had a chipped tooth.  Last weekend he was waking up about every one to two hours just screaming that his tooth hurt.  I took him in Monday morning to the dentist and he has a big abscess above the tooth along with the chip in the tooth.  We decided the best option for the situation would be to pull his tooth out.  Poor Beckem was NOT happy.  He hasn't had much luck at the dentist this year : ( I feel so bad for him!!

Lesson learned: we don't chew on rocks.   The dentist told Beckem, the rocks will always win and your teeth will always lose.  ha ha ha We found that out the hard way.

The toothfairy made her visit to him.  Beckem was pretty excited because he got TWO packs of gum and a dollar.

Tooth or no tooth, this little man is so stinking cute!!

All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth

Kyson has lost his two front teeth.  Oh I just love this toothless boy!!

Gobble Gobble

Kyson turned 7

Kyson's birthday was on Monday so on Saturday night Zac let him have a birthday present early so he could enjoy it for a little bit before going back to school on Monday.  He was so excited for his new bike.  He rode it outside all night until it was time to come in to go to bed.
On Sunday night we had cake and ice cream with Grandmas and Grandpas.

The next morning he was so excited to wake up and be 7 :)  Look how handsome this little guy is.  My boys just melt my heart.  They are growing up so fast, but they are so dang fun!!

I took off work a little early and took some balloons and candy to Kyson's class at school. He was surprised and so happy to see me.  I loved the look on his face.  After school we went over Krystal's and got everyone's hair cut.  Kyson chose to go get Chinese for dinner.  We went out to dinner as a family and then he wanted to go back home and fly his remote control helicopter that he got.

After he got sick of flying his helicopter he wanted to play tractors.  Zac is such a good daddy and played construction zone with him. It was pretty cute!!

Weekend with Brystal

Bethany and Colt took their girls to Disneyland.  They didn't want to take Brystal because she is so little, they thought it would be easier without her.  We were able to watch her for the weekend.  It was so fun, she is such a good baby!!  The boys loved having a girl around, they weren't really sure what do with her ha ha It was fun!!
