One of a kind. . . we will miss you Thomas!!

This is probably one of the hardest posts I have had to write.  On Sunday April 30th at 1:00 P.M. my Grandpa and one of my best friends returned to Heaven.  I wish so bad I could have been in Heaven to see the reunion when he got to see his wife, his son/best friend-Dave, his daughter-LuAnn, his mom (she died when he was 14 and he was really close to her) and many other relatives that have passed on.

He fought a hard battle.  He tried to be independent as long as he could be.  He never wanted to be burden on anyone.  He had an angel (my mom) on this Earth watch over him.  There are not many people that have such amazing family to care for them.  My mom would call him at least twice a day and then take him to lunch every day.  Not to mention help him with his laundry, refill prescriptions, take him grocery shopping,  schedule and take him to many, many doctor's appointments,  and SO MUCH MORE!!  She is truly an angel and I know he appreciated her so much!!

I am so grateful for the past four years I have had to get to go with him to lunch a few times a week and enjoy his company.  He always knew how to make me smile.  He has always called me his heart-breaker and now I feel a small piece of my heart is broken without him.  I am so grateful for the gospel and the knowledge I have to know that I will see him again one day.  I couldn't have asked for a better grandpa and friend.  He was one of a kind and that's what I LOVED about him!!  Until we meet again, I LOVE YOU THOMAS!!

Easter Egg Hunts

One thing we love about Easter time is the Easter egg hunts and the free candy.  We started our morning out in Pleasant View at their Easter Egg hunt.

Then we headed out to Layton to be with Great Grandma Mason at here facilities Easter egg hunt. I was SO IMPRESSED with the amount of eggs that there were.  Grandma said they had been stuffing eggs for two weeks.  There was over 5,000 eggs for the kids.  It was awesome.  Then after the egg hunt they had a really nice breakfast for everyone.

Grandma and Grandpa's Easter Party

My mom and dad always do so much for us and the kiddos.  It was a fun night with the family!!

Game Night at the Kapp House

We LOVE hanging out with the Kapp family.  All of our kids get along so good.  We always have so much fun together.  Zac and Marv wanted to watch the Master's together so we chilled and watch golf while the kiddos played games.  They were giggling so hard.  We love the Kapps!!

My Four Hard Workers

One thing I love about my dad is the way he is teaching my boys how to work.  He always comes up with projects for them to do to earn money and they love it.  We are moving the basketball hoop at Grandpa and Grandma's house so they went up and helped Grandpa mix the cement and put it in the hole.  It was so fun to watch.  They are good little workers.

Baby Animal Days

We enjoyed another year at Baby Animal Days in Logan.  It was such a nice day which made it really crowded but other than that it was really fun!!
