Lava Hot Springs and More Quotes

I am so grateful for my Savior and the help he gives me.  I have been really struggling with depression lately.  Zac gave me a blessing at the first of summer and has been such a great support to me.  I have relied on my Savior a lot too and I am so grateful He loves me for the exact person that I am!!

We enjoyed a weekend up in Lava Hot Springs with Kapp family.  Our kids get along so good and we always have so much fun together!!

Grand Junction, CO

I had to go back to Grand Junction for work so this time I took Boden and Beckem with me.  Tegan and Kyson had other things going on so the younger two got to tag along with me.  It was a fun little road trip!!

It’s not officially Grand Junction unless you touch the butt ha ha

OFY 2022

As soon as we got back from camping with Krystal’s family the boys headed off to OFY.  They went up to Rexberg ID for a full week.  I was having a hard time because this is the first time they were gone where I couldn’t check on them.  The second night I was telling Zac that I hope the boys are doing okay and I hate that I can’t check on them.  Right after that I got an email saying they updated instagram and you can look at pictures on there throughout the week. I pulled up Krystals instagram and the first picture that showed up was this picture of Tegan smiling so big.  It was so comforting to me to know that they were having fun and were doing okay.  When they got home they talked about their experiences for about a week.  They had so much fun and met some really cool people.  I am so grateful they get to have these experiences to help strengthen their testimonies and grow closer to our Father in Heaven.

Sheridan, WY

I got to spend a couple of days in Sheridan, WY.  It was so quiet and peaceful.  I love small towns and seeing new places.

While I was gone I got a text from Tegan with this picture of Kyson holding this bunny.  Later that night I was on Face Time with Zac and I asked him where they were holding that bunny.  He said what bunny??  He then started walking around the house to find the boys.  When he finally found them they were down in our basement bathroom getting ready to bath the bunnies :(. Apparently they were going to hide them down there and try to take care of them.  I swear. . . It’s never boring at our house!!  We refused to keep the bunnies and made them go take them outside and return them from where they got them from.  I love traveling for work, but it’s stuff like this that is hard.  It’s impossible to parent when you are miles away, but I am so grateful for Zac and all he does to hold down the fort while I am gone.

Temple Road Trip Through Idaho

When Zac picked up the boys from OFY, Tegan forgot to grab one of his bags and Kyson forgot his pillow.  The following week we drove up to Rexberg to pick up their stuff and on the way there we stopped and did baptisms at the Pocatello, ID temple.   Beckem and Boden sat in the car and watched a movie while we went in the temple.  Can’t wait for the day when all four can go in the temple together.

Stopped to get a picture in front of the Rexberg, ID temple

We stopped at the Idaho Falls temple to see it as well.

When we got home I had to run to the store and Beckem and Boden wanted to try to be little again.  Sucks to grow up ha ha

North Shore and Raptors Game

While Tegan and Kyson were at OFY, Beckem had a birthday party so we took Boden and Paityn swimming at North Shore.  After swimming we went to Cold Stone to get some ice cream.

Another night while the boys were gone, Jenna and Tayden invited us to the Raptors game with them.  We were right on the front row.  It was a fun night!!

Quotes and Camping With The McMillans

I love these quotes

Krystal has really wanted to take her family camping and she begged for us to go on a camping trip together.  So we got the date planned and spent a weekend up on Monte Christo.  It was definitely an adventure but we had a great time.  We played lots of games, explored and laughed.  So grateful for my sister and her family.
