Merry Christmas

Another fun year of Christmas.  Santa found his way to our house.

After we opened up presents we went out to Syracuse and picked up Great Grandma Mason.  We then went up to Jerry and Diana's for Papa's yummy omelet and to spend some time together as a family. Once we were done at Nana and Papa's we took Grandma back to Syracuse and went to visit "Thomas".  Once we were done visiting we headed back home to relax.  Krystal and Jayk came over to visit.  It was such a great Christmas.

Boden was zonked out on our way to take Grandma back home.

Tegan got a kit from Grandma and Grandpa to dig for a dinosaur bone.  He was in Heaven!!

Jennifer Pratt Thorpe

One of my dear friends passed away on December 20, 2015.  She fought a long 2 1/2 year battle of colon cancer.  Jen was someone that I looked up to so much!!  I LIVED at their house growing up.  When I was bored I would just head over to the Thorpe's house and hang out with Jen.  I babysat for them almost weekly and Greg was able to marry Zac and I civilly.  The Thorpe's have been a big part of my life and I will miss Jen greatly!!  She left an amazing legacy behind.  I will continue to look up to her strength and strive each day to be more Christlike. . . she was a perfect example of Christlike love!!  I am so grateful for the great influence she has been in my life.  She has a very special place in my heart!!

Sledding

On Christmas Eve we enjoyed some sledding time together as a family before Grandma and Grandpa's Christmas Eve dinner.

Snow Fort with Dad

Zac got to stay home the other day while I had to work.  While I was gone the boys built a snow fort with dad.  This thing is HUGE.  The kids LOVE it!!  Zac is such a great dad!!  The boys are pretty lucky to have him to look up to!!

This is inside the fort.   Five kids plus Zac fits in there.  It's awesome!!

Beckem's First Set of Stitches

We had a big snow storm last week.  When we were getting out of our truck in our garage Beckem slipped on the truck step.  The snow made it really slippery and he fell right on his head on the garage floor.  We ran him up to the instacare and thank goodness for Grandma to come to our rescue again!!  She took the other three boys so we could both be with Beckem.  He got three stitches inside and seven on the outside.

The light was bright so he was closing his eyes.  He really didn't sleep through all of this.
We tried bribing him with a toy so he would hold still.  He told us he didn't want a toy he just wanted some of that green bandage.  So that is what he got.  He was so excited!!
This was the morning after it happened.  Such a tuff little man!!
