Christmas Morning

On Christmas morning the boys woke up at 2 AM and we opened presents.  I thought for sure they would sleep in since it was day 5 after their surgery but I was wrong.  They were all up and ready to see what Santa brought.  We had such a great Christmas morning.  The boys got to play with their toys for awhile and then we went to Nana and Papa's to eat breakfast.  After Nana and Papas house we came home and let the boys relax and play with their toys.  They were such troopers, even though they were miserable they never complained and they were such good sports.  They are such good kids!!

Christmas Eve Party

We went to Grandma and Grandpa Rogers house for our Christmas Eve party.

Trey LOVES Kyson, when Kyson is around no one else matters. . .
 Zac with Ella and Tegan
We did our annual sugar cookie decorations.  This was a tradition I did with my Grandma Thomas when I was young and we wanted to keep that tradition going so we decided to start doing it with all the kids at our Christmas eve party.

Trey and Kate were SO CUTE together giving each other hugs.

Justin won the prize for the most detailed cookie
Grandma worked hard for sometime before the party to put together a nativity play.  The kids did so cute!!  It was my favorite part of the night.  Such a great way to remember the true meaning of Christmas.

The best part of the holidays is being with the ones we love!!

Best Christmas Gift

When we bought our house I told him one of the very few things I wanted to change about the house was our fireplace wall.  I wanted to have rock and brick around the fireplace.  He mentioned something to his boss about wanting to get some rock for me.  Dan (Zac's boss) was so nice and said, "go down and get everything you need and put it on my account"  So we got all the rock for free.  SO NICE!!  Zac spent an entire weekend working on the wall, it turned out AMAZING!!  He did such a GREAT job, it was everything I wanted.   He even made the mantel himself.  He is AMAZING.  I am SO LUCKY to have him!!  Such a great Christmas gift!!

1914 Book of Mormon

Zac redid a tote goat for one of his co-workers.  Rhino wanted to fix up their tote goat for his wife for Christmas.  Zac LOVES doing that stuff so he took it and flipped it completely.  We went and delivered the tote goat a couple of days before Christmas.  We weren't expecting anything in return, but he had gifts for both Zac and I.  Rhino gave Zac a really nice razor and he handed me a gift.  I wasn't expecting anything at all.  When I opened it up I was so excited.  It was a Book of Mormon from 1914.  Rhino told me he thought we could use/appreciate it more than he could. I was so thankful for his thoughtfulness.
