Meeting Santa

The first weekend in December we got the opportunity to go talk to Santa and eat breakfast. The Franklin Group in Farr West has breakfast with Santa. It was so fun. Thanks Jesse for inviting us to such a fun tradition.

Growing Up So Fast...

I finally decided to start Beckem on some baby food. My other boys hated their first few feedings so I was thinking Beckem wouldn't really eat much but I would give it a try. The kid LOVED it. I couldn't get food on the spoon fast enough. He didn't even spit any of it out, he did great!! He is getting so big so fast!!

I finally jumped on the band wagon and got a smart phone, I thought and still think they aren't really a NEED, but they are convenient. I love that it calms my children down too : ) They LOVE angry birds and ant smasher. : ) They were so cute laying by each other playing games, I just had to snap a picture. They are best buddies!! (most of the time)

Beckem is the sweetest baby ever!!

The bean game...

We had the Thomas family party at our house. I love Christmas time and getting together with all our families. We are so blessed to have such good families that are so close.

Look at this cute couple, I can't help but LOVE them.

And it wouldn't be Christmas time without the tradition bean game. . .

For those of the family that were not able to make it this year, don't cry too hard, you know the bean game will be around next year LOL : ) Gotta love grandma's bean game!!

Sugar Cookie Tradition

Ever since I was a little girl my grandma would have all the girl cousins sleepover at her house the night before the Thomas family Chirstmas party. We would go Christmas caroling, read Christmas stories and talk about the symbolism in all the Christmas decorations and the next morning my grandma would always cook us a nice breakfast and then we would frost sugar cookies for the party that night. It was such a fun tradition, we haven't done it for years since everyone has gotten married and grown up but this year my cousin Meridee called and wanted to surprise grandma and show up and decorate cookies for the party with her. It was so fun to get together with all the cousins and see grandma so happy. This is something that has always meant so much to her and it was so nice to remember what Christmas is all about. I love my grandma so much and all the memories she has given me at Christmas time!!

LOVE YOU GRANDMA!!

We used to eat more frosting and cookies than we would decorate and some things just never change : )

I think I am in trouble....

This all started about two months ago we were sitting watching T.V. and I was flipping through the channels and Kyson all the sudden says, "hang on mom, look how pretty she is" it had changed off of the "pretty girl" and he said, "not her mom, hang on" then she came back on the T.V. and he says, "see mom, her she is BEAUTIFUL" I just kind of smiled and flipped through a few more channels. Once again Kyson says, "whoa mom, look she is really pretty too" I just said, "yep bud, she is really pretty" Well, there wasn't much to watch on T.V. so I turned it back to Charlee Brown for the boys to watch and Kyson got a little upset and said, "no mom, I don't want to watch this I want to watch the girl show" I then explained that he is TWO and he doesn't need to watch the girl show (meaning the pretty girls on T.V.). He just looked at me with a big smile and said, "mom, I like pretty girls" I wasn't sure what to say, I was really in shock I think but the story continues.....

A couple days later we are that the gas station and I hear Kyson say to Tegan, "hey teg, look at that pretty girl right there" I thought he was looking at the lady at the drive up window and I said, "that lady is so nice to give all those people their drinks huh" and Kyson says, "not her mom, she is dumb, that girl" as he is pointing out Tegan's window. I look over and there is a budwiser poster with this girl in a tiny little top and little shorts with her blowing in the wind. Once again I was shocked and not really sure what to say, he just turned THREE!! And yet the story still continues....

So I was getting ready the other day and Kyson came in to hang out with me which is a usual thing. He was just sitting there jabbering to me and then we walks over and picks up my bra. He says, "mom, are these your boobs" I said, "no bud that is just for my boobs" and the he looks at it for a minute and puts it down and says to me "mom, sometimes I like boobs, sometimes I don't, but most the time I do" HOLLY CRAP!! Seriously, I AM IN TROUBLE!!

Nana/Papa Sleepover

The Nana Papa Sleepover is a big tradition on Zac's side of the family for Christmas time. We all get together and have a big sleepover with our matching P.J.'s and everything. This year the theme was monkeys and it turned out really cute. The kids had so much fun with all the cousins. Thanks Nana for such a fun sleepover.

Beckem was exhausted by about 8:00 So he went to bed and missed most of the fun, but he got his little jammies before hitting the sack.

Santa Run

Nicole had such a fun idea to do the Santa Run. Me, Zac, Krystal, Jayk, Nicole, and Justin all dressed up and ran in the Santa Run in Ogden. It was so fun. There were over 950 people entered in the race. I was so surprised that Zac commited to running because for seven years I have wanted him to run with me but he would always say, "I don't run for fun, the only time I run is if I am being chased" but he has changed his mind and he actually had a lot of fun doing it. It was a fun night and a great way to kick off Christmas Season!!

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a really nice Thanksgiving. My mom had dinner the Sunday before because they were going to be in Arizona with my brother for Thanksgiving so we ate Thanksgiving dinner at Kevin and Cathy's house then went and bummed around for a little while and then went and did our traditional Thanksgiving bowling. It was so much fun. I love our families and the time we get to spend with them.

Kyson's Birthday

For Kyson's Birthday Zac stayed home from work so we could spend the whole day with him. After Tegan got out of school we took the boys to Kangaroo Zoo to play for a little while. That night we had everyone over for pizza, cake and ice cream. It was fun. He was so excited about his tractor cake and his motorcyle.

Look who's turning THREE...

Kyson is turning THREE tomorrow. I am so excited for him. He has been counting down how many more "ni-nights" until his birthday. Every morning when he wakes up he says, "mom, how more times do I need to go ni-night until my birthday now??" It's so cute!! Some things about my little man...he loves orange, he loves cars and trucks (especially trucks pulling trailers, they are his favorite), he is talking so well we are still working on our "s" sound but other than that he can say pretty much anything, Tegan and Beckem are his best friends, he is very athletic and loves to play catch or kick a ball, he has a huge soft spot for his mommy, and wants to be just like his dad in everything. We love you so much Kyson and are excited for your big day!!

Happy Halloween

The boys were so excited to be "spiderman" and "ironman". When they got their costumes they put them on and creeped down the deck to go scare Zac in the backyard. They told me, watch mom, dad won't even know it's us. He will think spiderman and ironman came to our house. Then they ran outside across the backyard and scared Zac. It was pretty cute.

For Halloween Tegan had a fun Halloween party at school where he got to go sing a song with his class and get candy from the weber high staff. After school we made the rounds to great-grandparents and grandma and grandpa's house. When Zac got home from work we headed up to Nana and Papa's and went trick-or-treating with all the cousins. This was the first time the boys went trick-or-treating because we have always just done the trunk or treats. They loved going door to door to get candy. When we were worn out of trick or treating we just hung out at Nana and Papa's and went downstairs for some chili with Great Grandma and Grandpa Mason. It was a fun but busy day. Today the boys woke up and begged me to put on their costumes again. They LOVE them!!

My cute Skeleton, I love his little smile!!

Jake made the cutest tiger!! He is SO CUTE!!

Beckem had a blow out and I just happened to have this outfit in the diaper bag. So he was a doctor while his outfit was getting cleaned.

I was feeding Beckem this morning and this is what Ky was doing. He is so funny!!
