Rogers Halloween Party

Another fun year of Grandma and Grandpa's Halloween party.  They always put so much work into it and we appreciate it so much!!

Zac's Surgery

Zac had his tonsils out the end of October.  When he came out of surgery he was throwing up.  The anesthesia made him so sick.  We got his nausea under control so we could take him home to his own bed.  It was a ROUGH two weeks.  He was such a good sport and never whined but I could tell he was so uncomfortable.   One of the first days after surgery Boden wrote this letter on his white board and brought it in for Zac.  He hated seeing Zac in pain.  I love how big of a heart my boys have.  Boden is very tender hearted. . .he melts my heart!!
After watching how hard it was on Zac to have his tonsils out as an adult we decided to try to get the boys out while they are young.  We have an appointment the first of December to see if we can get all of their tonsils out.  We will see what the doctor says.

Such Good Boys

We took Kyson on his night out and Tegan was left to babysit.  When we got home they showed us a craft they had made.  I was so impressed. . . I love that their grandma is always doing crafts with them, it obviously has rubbed off them.  They love making things.

When I get really bad headaches having my feet rubbed helps SO MUCH.  I was saying I had a headache and Boden went in the bathroom and got the lotion and started rubbing my feet.  He is such a good kid!!  I am so spoiled!!

Love Notes

Beckem hasn't even been in first grade for a whole month and he got two love notes from two different girls.  He is so dang sweet!!  I think we are in trouble. . . I am afraid this is only the beginning of the girls chasing our boys.

Water Time

We went a few times out with the Caldwell family to Willard Bay to play in the water and enjoy time on their boat.
I love Smith Family Park that is so close to our house.  I went and walked around the track while the boys had fun catching frogs in the pond.

Kyson has been begging us to go fishing.  We found a night that we didn't have much going on and we took Tegan and Kyson up to Mantua.  We took the canoe out and caught a couple of fish.  The wind picked up pretty bad so we had to paddle to shore and fish from there for a bit.  Kyson LOVES fishing!!  I think he is going to be our hunter and fisherman.

We thought Kyson caught a big one, when we saw what he caught we were all laughing so hard.  Stupid moss!!
