A little glimse of Heaven...

Last night was one of my favorite nights and something that I want to remember forever. We took Tegan down to see the Monster Jam. About two weeks ago Zac told him we were going down to see Gravedigger and everyday since then he would wake up and ask "mom, I go see gravedigger today??" I finally told him, we need to have daddy's birthday and then a couple days later we will go see him...so on Zac's birthday, the minute Zac walked in the door from school Tegan hurried and sung the first line of Happy Birthday as fast as he could and then looked at me and said "I go to monster trucks now??" It was so sweet. Poor kid couldn't understand why he had to wait so long. The day finally came and we went to see gravedigger. We rode the frontrunner down and Tegan LOVED the BIG TRAIN!! Then we went and saw the crazy monster trucks. Tegan was in AWW the WHOLE TIME!! I LOVED watching him get so excited. I just kept thinking that this is what makes being a parent so amazing. I loved watching him get so excited and be so happy!! It was such a fun night. We were sad that Kyson couldn't come this year because it was so loud, but I can't wait to take both of them next year. Tegan's first train ride...

Tegan calling Mamma and telling her all about it...

And this is what happens when you make a 2 1/2 year old wait 45 minutes for the frontrunner to leave...I LOVE kids!!

Happy 27th Birthday Babe!!

Tuesday was Zac's birthday. He went to his first class at school and then came home to play with us. We went and ran some errands and went Red Lobster for lunch/dinner. It was so YUMMY!! We LOVE that place. After we ate, we came back home and relaxed and our parents and Grandma and Grandpa Thomas came over later on. I attempted a doulble layer red-velvet cake, but I didn't whip the shortening nearly long enough for the frosting did not turn out. It was a pretty pathetic cake, sorry babe!! I hope you had a good birthday. Thanks for being such an amazing dad, husband and my best friend!! We are so proud of you and WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!

I love to see the temple....

Saturday was an amazing day. We had the opportunity to go with Dani (Zac's sister) and Scott as they made their family eternal. The spirit was SO STRONG. On the way up to the Logan temple I turned on some church music and I just kept crying because I felt the spirit so strong and Zac said to me "If you don't stop crying I am going to have to turn off this music" : ) I just laughed. I LOVE feeling the spirit that much, I wish I could feel it that strong EVERYDAY!! It was so awesome to be a part of Scott's endowment session and be with him as he recieved all the blessings of the endowment session. After the session we went into the sealing room, when they brought those three beautiful girls in I couldn't help but cry. Then they knelt around the alter as a family and they all looked like angels up there and the spirit was amazing!! I am so happy for them. This is something they have waited a long time for and I know their family will be blessed so much for making these steps to make their family eternal. Congrats you guys. We love you so much and are SO HAPPY for you guys!! Thanks for an AMAZING day full of the spirit!!Beautiful family
After we went to Maddox to eat. Tegan loves playing with Oliva and Samantha and they are so cute with him.

Sick "Ky Ky"

Our adventure all started on Sunday afternoon when Kyson woke up with a temp of 104.8, we gave him tylenol and motrin and his fever finally broke. Yesterday he woke up looking much better and was happy and I thought it was no big deal. After taking a nap for 4 1/2 hours (which was a very needed sleep considering this weekend we took away his binki and he cried for an hour Saturday before going down for a nap and he cried for 45 minutes before going to sleep for the night) Tegan finally went in and woke him up because he couldn't wait any longer to play with his "ky ky" When Kyson woke up he had another fever and looked miserable. So again the tylenol and motrin broke the fever and we thought maybe he was teething (it's so hard to know with kids what's going on). This morning he woke up wheezing and coughing and TON so I took him to the doctor. It was so cute, on the way up to the doctor Kyson just kept coughing and Tegan looked over at him and said "Ky Ky we will take you to the doctor right now and make you better okay buddy" It was SO SWEET!! They did some tests and the tests came back as RSV, which I think is overrated because it's just a fancy name for a COLD, it's scary if little babies get it, but with toddlers it's just something they have to get over. At least it might be kind of cool for him to read later on in his baby book : ) So my trip to the doctor was kind of a waste, but at least I know his oxygen is high enough and he is going to live. I feel bad for the little guy though, he just looks miserable, but even as miserable as he looks, and probably feels, he still has his FREAKIN cute smile on his face. Hope you get better soon buddy. We love you!! Look how FREAKIN CUTE this little guy is!!
