Thomas the Scary Man

Yesterday we went to pick Grandpa up for lunch and I told the boys to stay in the car.  I went into get Grandpa and he was dressed like this.  I said, what the crap are you doing grandpa? and he said where are my boys, I need to scare them.  He grabbed his mop and went out to my car.  I was laughing so hard.  I rolled the windows down for him to see the boys and he started to stick his mop through the window and was saying, "I am going to get you. . . I am a scary man"  I just about peed my pants.  He is so dang fun.  The boys LOVE going to spend time with him.  Oh great times!!

Another Bow Tie Photo Shoot

Kaylee's sister needed some more pictures for her bowtie online store.  The boys were able to go be models again.  I was telling the boys that we needed to go get more pictures for the website.  Kyson said, "Wait we are famous?" I said, yep you are famous.  They all looked at each other and smiled and said, "really, we are famous?"  I said yes again and then Kyson said, "Oh no, what if my girlfriend's dad sees me"  I started to laugh so hard.  I love these boys so much!!

House Projects

I am the luckiest girl ever.  I have the handiest man ever as a husband and he is so great to do whatever I ask for.  I got this idea to put up brick columns on our house and tada. . . here they are.  I love that our house is becoming more and more our. . . it feels so good to finally feel like we are home.  I love everything about where we live now.

After Zac built the brick columns, I spent this past weekend working in the yard and removing all the lava rock in our front yard.  I have hated the lava rock since I moved it.  I just felt like it didn't match and it didn't feel very homey.  I took out all the lava rock and put down black mulch.  I LOVE it now!!  Another project done. . . I love doing projects!!  ha ha thank goodness I am married to a patient man because I am always coming up with something new.

Such a Fun Weekend

Krystal and Jayk went to Arizona for Jayk's sister's wedding. I was lucky enough to get to watch their little girls all weekend.  Zac had his annual fishing trip with his dad and brother's so it was me and six little ones all under eight.  It was so much fun though.  On Saturday, after Beckem and Jake's soccer game Nicole ran up to the hospital to see her brother and his new baby.  Their three kids came over to play as well.  It was so much fun to see all the kids play together and have a good time.  We were all playing outside so I decided to paint the door while we were hanging outside.  I loved it.

I loved doing Rozlyn's hair.  Girls are so much fun : )
Two cutest soccer players in the AYSO league!!
Lunch time with all the kids. . .

In the morning Ella woke up and I went into get her out of the crib and then I heard cute Roz wake up and come running in. . . "Ella Boo did you wake up, Ella Boo"  It was so sweet.  Boden woke right up and couldn't wait to hold Ella.  Those poor girls are held to death at our house.  My boys love their cousins.

Since it was General Conference weekend, we didn't have church Sunday.   We went for a picnic at the park.  It was funny to watch everyone stare at me as all of these kids got out of the car.  It didn't help that Roz calls me Mama Leece or Mama ha ha it was hilarious.

We went out to see Grandpa Thomas.  On our way to his house we noticed this handsome man walking up the road with his walker. . . yep, it was "Thomas".  Teg and Ky walked the rest of the way with him.  He was headed to KFC for lunch so we went and spent time with him while he had lunch and then Teg and Ky walked back home with him.  I love spending time with Grandpa. . . my boys love it too!!

This is what happened when I turned on General conference after visiting Great Grandpa. . . all six kids were out like a light : )

Here is the final product of the door painting : )  We survived the weekend and were excited to see Zac when he got home.  We sure did miss having daddy around.

Boden's First Trip to the Dentist

This little man is old enough to go to the dentist now.   He was so good and did everything they asked him to do.  This little guy has all his teeth and is cavity FREE.  WAHOO!!  He is growing up so fast!!

Preschool Buddies

We originally weren't going to put the boys in preschool this year since they are in daycare, but we just couldn't live without Teacher Sue.  I was so excited when she said we could start even though it was a month into the school year.  These two are so excited to be in school together.

Cute Sayings

I LOVE my boys ages right now.  They make me laugh everyday.  They have said the cutest things lately and I don't want to forget them. . .here are just a few of their witty comments : )

-Beckem was at the dentist the other day and was nervous about what they were doing to fill his cavity.  He started to cry.  The dentist told him he would give him a minute to calm down and talk to me and he left for a minute.  While I was holding Beckem, Boden was playing on their Kindle and he says, "Beckem, you not being very good.  You need to listen to that man and be good."  He thinks he is so big : )  We had to go back two days later and fill the other cavities and when we got there Boden looked Beckem right in the eyes and said, "Beckem be brave okay, don't cry.  I will be right here with you"  It was so sweet!!

-The other night Zac and I went on a date and saw Maze Runner 2.  There were zombies in the movies and I HATE anything scary.  I told the boys on the way home that we saw a movie and I didn't like what was in it and I might get nightmares.  Zac said, "Don't worry boys, I will hold your mommy if she gets scared."  The rest of the boys started talking to us and then Boden says, "Dad, you take care of mommy??  You keep mommy safe??"  : )  I love how my boys protect me, I am one lucky girl!!

-The other day Kyson had an accident and sharted in his underwear.  He had such a bad stomach ache.  Yesterday I had a really bad stomach ache and Kyson laid next to me and as serious as can be just said, "mom, just shart your pants and then have diarrhea it will make it all better."  I started laughing so hard.  He started to laugh and said, "well it worked for me"  ha ha ha ha

-While we were playing the other day with Roz and Ella, Boden went over and gave Roz a hug.  At the end of the hug he decided to pick her up.  Once he picked her up they fell backwards but Boden rolled over a little bit so he took the brunt of the fall and Roz landed on the grass instead of the cement.  I just said, wow that was a cool fall so they wouldn't cry and they started to laugh.  They both got up and Boden was holding his elbow.  He immediately went over and grabbed Roz and said, "Roz you okay??  You okay Roz??"  It was so sweet to watch him be so concerned for her when he was holding his elbow and clearly got hurt.  It made me so proud to watch my boys take care of the girls!!

There are so many more cute things they say and I need to be better about writing them down, but those are a few cute moments I never want to forget.  I love my boys so much and am so dang lucky to have five men to protect me each day.  I am so blessed!!  I love the life I have been given!!
