Sunshine

We have had nothing but clouds and rain for at least a month, but it seems like it has been forever. Yesterday we finally got to see SUNSHINE again. It was great. We took full advantage of the nice weather. We went and played at the "fishy" park, played outside and went on a nice bike ride up to Justin and Nicole's house. Too bad our homemade bike trailer hitch only made it up to their house, it was a very clever idea. I wish I would have gotten a picture before it broke. Thanks to Justin and Nicole the boys were able to get a ride back home with them. It was a very nice day and it was nice to enjoy the beautiful sunshine again, hopefully we will get to enjoy the sun again soon.

We love fishing

Yesterday was so much fun. We took Tegan fishing for his first time and Grandpa Thomas was able to come with us. Tegan kept asking all day if it was time to go fishing yet. When it was finally time to go he got SO EXCITED!! We went up to Causey and he whole drive up there he kept saying, "Are the fish right there?? Where are the fish??" It probably felt like the longest ride in history to him.
One reason why I love fishing is because as a girl I got to go fishing with my grandpa and spend time with him doing something that he LOVES. It was so fun to spend the night with him and watch him light up every time he caught a fish. I love my grandpa so much!!
We caught quite a few fish, especially grandpa. I think we caught about 15 but some got away. Grandpa caught about 12 of the 15, he was on fire!! It was so much fun for all of us. Tegan couldn't stop talking about it on the way home.
I can't wait to go fishing more now that it is getting warmer.

Feeding the Horses and Mamma's House

One thing the boys LOVE is feeding the horses at grandma and grandpas...

A proud moment....

Today was the first day Kyson went to the nursery for the whole time. Anyone that has ever had a 12-18 month old at church understands why this is such a big day. You pretty much spend the whole three hours chasing your child around the halls and get nothing out of church except a good workout. Somedays I just wondered why we even go, but today I actually got to listen to sharing time in primary and teach my lesson without him being bored out of his mind and wanted to find something else to explore. I am so proud of him. We tried taking him about three weeks ago and he was so traumatized, I thought he would never go back, but HE DID IT!! Way to go buddy, you are such a good boy. We love you so much!!

Another GREAT addition to the family

After we went to the Zoo we met up with my parents and met my soon to be sister-in-law for the first time. Sandra is from Peru, which is where Scott served his mission. Scott met Sandra online a couple of years ago. He got a chance to go back to his mission area and met her and her family before going to P.A. school. Scott didn't know if anything would come out of it because she was miles away and he was dealing with the stress of P.A. school. Well, after talking everyday on the computer and spending three weeks with her and her family after graduation they decided they wanted to spend the rest of eternity together. We are so excited for both of them. She got her visa about a month ago and was able to come to America for the first time. They are going to get sealed for all time and eternity in the Salt Lake temple on June 3rd. I am so happy for them. They look so cute together!! She will be another great addition to the family. I had to laugh when I was taking pictures of them it was so bright and one of their pictures you could hardly see Scott, Sandra told him it was because he was unbaked, or uncooked. Ha ha, she is pretty dang cute!!

I have never been on top of the conference center before until then. It was BEAUTIFUL!! I love that they have a whole garden of trees and plants growing up there. It was so awesome to see the temple and Salt Lake from this view!! Aren't they cute, and isn't the temple beautiful!!

We love the Zoo

Saturday we decided, spur of the moment, to take the kids down to the Zoo. My dad said it was five dollar Zoo day, it definately wasn't five dollar day, but it was still so much fun. Ha ha Love ya Dad!! It was so fun this year because Kyson is old enough now to get excited for all the animals. They both were loving every minute.

Making a train with cars

This is one of Tegan's favorite things to do, he makes all his cars into a line or a "train". Everyday consists of gathering all his cars (this one is pretty little compared to most days) and putting them in a line and then driving his monster trucks over them. It's pretty dang cute!! Love ya buddy!!

Mothers....

There are so many women in my life that have touched me in different ways. I am so grateful to these women and the great examples they have been in my life.

One woman that I am SO GRATEFUL for is my mom. It wasn't until I became a mother myself that I really realized how much my mom has done and continues to do for me. I would be lost without my mom. She is always there to listen when I need to talk, a shoulder to cry on, a great friend and most importantly she is a great example of LOVE. She would give you anything and everything and she never complains!! She is a rock!! She is so spirtually strong and close to our Savior. I hope one day I can be half the mother and friend that she has been and continues to be. Thanks mom I love you so much!! Happy Mothers Day!!

Playing with kittens

The other day we went to visit Nana at work. They had the cutest little kittens that we got to play with. Too bad they don't stay that little and cute or else we would definately get one. They even had four day old kittens we got to see, I thought they looked like drowned mice, definately not the cutest things when they are born. It was fun to see and play with all the animals. Thanks Nana!!

Yard Work

We love when it's warm outside!! Tegan and Kyson love helping daddy in the yard and just being outside. They love to play with the shovels, I am not sure why but they have so much fun with them and that's all that matters.
