Dirt Anyone

The boys wanted to "paint" their faces with dirt, like they weren't already dirty enough
Bo was in Heaven!!

Idaho Pictures

The kids, especially Tegan loved playing baseball everyday.  They would play it for hours.

Izzy loved being the catcher, it was so cute to watch her.

We went fishing at the Dredge Ponds, but there was nothing, so the kids just had fun throwing rocks.

Red Fish Lake in Idaho

One day we went and let the boys play at Red Fish Lake.  The water is always FREEZING so Zac and I didn't get in the water but the boys had a blast jumping off the dock and splashing around.  Even Bo would stand on the dock and count to three and try to jump, I had to help him a bit because the poor kid can't really jump yet and it's a big fall for a little guy like him, but he loved being big like his brothers.

Easter Egg Hunt in Idaho

Aunt Brandje was so dang cute and put together such fun things for the kids, she put together this Egg hunt, the boys were so excited.

I brought up our bubble machine and Bo LOVED it.

The puppies loved the relaxing time.

First Day in Idaho

It's that time of year again, we had our yearly camping trip to Idaho with the Mason family.  I took so many pictures so I had to split it up in a few different posts.  It was fun to let the boys be boys and get dirty everyday.  They loved it.

Happy 7th Birthday

We were leaving to go camping with the Mason family on Teg's birthday.  We woke him up and let him open his presents before we left.  He came downstairs and saw three little presents, he was bummed because all he wanted was a big remote control truck for his birthday and he could tell that the three presents weren't it.  He tried to act excited for his other gifts, but you could tell he was so sad.  After he opened his gifts we told him to get loaded in the truck so we could leave.  He then turned to me and whispered, remember all I wanted for my birthday was a remote control truck. I told him sorry and be grateful for what he got. He then went and put on his shoes and Zac called him out to the garage to help lift something.  It was then, that he discovered his real gift.  It was so cute, he was SO EXCITED.  Sorry Teg to trick you, but it was fun to watch your reaction.

I made him an ice cream sandwhich cake so I didn't have to worry about baking one when we got to Idaho.  We just put it on dry ice and it worked out great.  After we got up to Idaho and camp all set up we all sang to Tegan and had some ice cream cake.  He had to have the snake on there when I made it. He is such a boy, I love it!!

Happy 7th Birthday Tegan, we love you so much!!

Random Pics of the Boys

The boys LOVE to dig in our rocks and dirt in the back yard, it entertains them for hours.  I love it!!
Beckem is growing up so fast.  He just makes me giggle everyday.
I love my boys so much!!

Happy 30th

I turned 30!! I couldn't have asked for a better week.  I have the best family and friends in the world!! On my actual birthday I went to work that morning.  Before work I woke up to a counter full of cards, pictures and flowers from Zac and the boys.  It totally made my day.  I loved Tegs card, this is what he wrote to me. . . So SWEET!!
While I was out running errands at work my boss decorated my desk. . . she is so cute!!  I love working with her.  She's the best!!

Zac called me and wanted to meet up for lunch, so I left work early and we went and ate lunch at the Junction.  He is so dang sweet, I love being married to my best friend.  After lunch Zac had to go back to work so I met my mom and my boys at Article Circle to enjoy some lunch and quality time with my Grandpa.  Bo LOVES grandpa so much!! He kept giving him Eskimo kisses, it was so cute!!  I love my grandpa so much and I love watching my boys with him as well.  He is such a special man!!
Tegan played his last baseball game that night so we went and enjoyed watching him play.  He loves baseball and he is so good at it.  I love watching him.
My birthday was on Wednesday and on Friday Bethany and the girls came enjoyed pizza, bubbles and the water with me and the boys.  It was so fun to just sit and relax and hang out with Bethany, she is one of my best friends.  I love that our kids play so well together too.  Who would have thought that 11 years ago when we met that I would have four boys and she would have four girls (her fourth will be here after summer time, so excited!!).  I love the Kapp family so much!!

Friday night I didn't know what Zac had planned for me, all I knew was that my mom was taking the boys overnight and we were going out.  I was SO EXCITED!!  Zac started the night off by taking me to the cheesecake factory.  I love that place.  Then he told me that he had been saving up money for me and he had 400.00 for me to go shopping with.  I was so excited.  We went and walked around City Creek for a little bit, then we headed to the Bees game.  Zac had lined up fifth row seats right behind home plate (thanks Chris).  It was so fun. We had never been to a Bees game, so we were so excited to go.  He had them announce my birthday there as well. It was so sweet.  I LOVE hanging out with Zac, we always have so much fun together.  There was a New York Yankees scout right in front of us, the men next to Zac talked to him most of the game.  It was cool to see everything they watch for as a scout.

After the game we planned on just driving to a hotel in Salt Lake and spending the night and then all Saturday Zac was going to take me shopping. . . . well, our plans changed once we got to our car. . .You can't really tell from this picture but our back window was shattered everywhere.  Someone broke into our car and stole our overnight bag.  That meant all my make up, hair stuff, and clothes were gone.  I was so made. I should have put it in the trunk but I didn't even think about it, since it was so invaluable to anyone else.  Zac was so bummed, he wanted to still go to a hotel, but we had no garments or clothes to change into so we just headed home.  We had to go vacuum out the car since there was glass everywhere.  Zac was so sad because he had been planning this night for a few weeks, but I told him there was nothing we could do about it and it was still a perfect birthday date.  We just slept at home and then Zac took me shopping around Ogden on Saturday.  It was such a great birthday and I am so lucky to have such a WONDERFUL and AMAZING best friend that I am married to.   Zac is the BEST ever!!  Bring on my 30's : )
