Day Three

Day 3: Beckem has been able to tolerate his air flow to gradually be turned down and all day was on 1 liter, when we came in to see him he was actually breathing completely on his own and doing great. It was such a relief so see. He is now under bili lights because his billirubin spiked pretty high, but that's no uncommon for my boys. All of them have been under lights. They moved his tube feeding to his nose and we are hoping that will help him tolerate more feedings. All through the night last night he threw up all of his feedings but has done okay throughout the day. He is making small progress, but still has a ways to go. I got to hold him for an hour and it was SO NICE!! I haven't got to hold me that long ever so it was nice. We didn't get to hold him when we went back up to see him because we are trying to let him have as much light exposure as possible so his bili will come down faster. He is looking better and better each day and hopefully soon he will be able to eat from a bottle and he will get to come home with us. Until then we are just praying everyday for him and enjoy holding his hand when we can. Love you tons Beckem!!

We have the greatest neighboorhood ever!! My good friend Bre had a swim party at her house and the boys had so much fun jumping on her tramp and playing with all the kids. It's fun to see so many kids have fun together. There were at least 20 kids there all playing and having tons of fun. I am so grateful we have such great neighbors and friends.
