Easter Egg Hunts

All growing up we went to Easter egg hunts every year. I also enjoyed the anticipation of beating all the kids to the eggs/candy.  This is something we have always done with our boys and I love it.  We looked up times for different hunts and decided to go at 9 in Pleasant View so then we could head up to baby animal days.  The boys got SO MUCH candy at this one.  Their buckets were full to the brim.  As we were walking away Zac said, "let's look up and see where one is at 10 and we will hit another one.  He LOVES candy ha ha.  So I looked up one in Brigham and sure enough it started at 10 so we headed North.  Zac happened to over hear someone talking at Pleasant View about one at Willard Bay that was sponsored by Smith and Edwards.  We looked up that one and it started at 11.  We now had a plan : )  We headed to Brigham and then back to Willard Bay.  It was so dang fun to make it to all three.  The boys loved it and Zac is such an amazing dad, he is so good to help with all the boys.  I couldn't do it without him.  So after our adventure at the hunts we headed to Logan for Baby Animal Days.

Brigham did it a little different. . . look how many eggs their are.  We got pretty excited until we found out the eggs are all empty.  They did it so after you ran and collected your eggs you turned them in and then you received a bag of candy.  They said it was a politically correct hunt ha ha.  I thought it was not as fun, but the boys didn't care and they raced to get their eggs.

We played on the slide for a bit while we waited for the hunt to begin.

And now the wait at Willard Bay for hunt number three. . .it was so fun to watch the boys get so excited.  They all melt my heart and I love to watch them smile.
As if those three hunts weren't enough, Aunt Brandje put another one on for the kids during the priesthood session that night.  The boys were SO EXCITED and Brandje never just does a little, she goes OVERBOARD with treats.  She is such a good Aunt!!
She had Beckem, Zander and Boden go first. . . yes the boys are in their ninja suits and NO it's not Halloween, but that's how we roll sometimes at the Mason household. . . we play ninjas.  Whatever. . . the boys love it : )

 Kyson and Izzy went next.

These two ham chops were just sitting there watching their brothers enjoy the fun.  They crack me up!!
Finally it was Tegan and Jorun's turn.  Abby helped Brandje stuff and hide the eggs so she didn't search for any.
Four Easter egg hunts later and this is the result. . . INSANE!! The boys (mostly Zac) were so excited for the yummy candy treats : )
