Beckem rolled over
Beckem rolled over for the first time yesterday. He was being fussy while I was doing dishes then I heard him giggling and looked over and saw him on his tummy. He was so proud of himself way to go big guy.
Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam...
Crash for Cops
A couple weeks ago we took the boys to a demolition derby for the six cops that were shot in the line of duty. This derby was amazing. They only had five days to get their cars ready from the time they announced the event to the big day. The vendors thought they would only have about ten cars and from Zac having done derbys in the past we know it is A LOT of work to get these cars ready to be crashed. The day of the derby there were 30 cars and 10 trucks, it was AWESOME!! The coolest part about it was that all the winnings went to the families. That is a huge sacrifice for these drivers because usually the winner can go home with a few thousand dollars. It was awesome to see so many generous people giving to such a good cause.
A big thanks so all those who serve for us each and everyday and put their lives on the line, you are AMAZING!!
It finally snowed!!
My kids have never had all their snow clothes to do play in the snow (I know I am a horrible mother) so this year we finally went and bought them everything to play in the snow. We bought everything at the end of November and the boys have been so excited to play in the snow. It never snowed in December though, so when it finally snowed the boys couldn't wait to go play outside. It was so much fun. We even took them sledding the other day and it was a BLAST!! They LOVED it!!

Merry Christmas
Christmas was so much fun this year. The night before we went and looked at the lights on 25th and then came home and read the scriptures and talked about the true meaning of Christmas. We decided to start a new tradition that we open our gift from each other on Christmas Eve. The boys were so excited to give each other thier gifts, it was such a fun thing to see.
Kind of a funny story....so like a week before Christmas we took the boys to buy each others gifts. I took one boy into walmart while the other boys stayed in the car with Zac. After we bought their toy I went out and switched kids and did the same thing again. On our way out to the car I told each boy over and over...."don't tell your brother what you bought them until they open their gift" So on our way home we hear the boys in the back and this was their converstation...
Tegan..."hey Ky, so I bought something really cool"
Ky..."well your's is really cool too"
Tegan..."yours is green"
Kyson..."your's is a helicopter (as he giggles)"
Tegan..."yours is a garbage truck (as he giggles)"
and then just kept giggling with each other. They did exactly what I asked them not to do, but it was so cute to hear them with each other. I love them so much!!
