Day One: we went to the Whitmer Farm where the first sacrament of the restored gospel was held. The boys got to bless and pass the sacrament. After church we went to the river where Joseph Smith was baptized, went to Emma Hales childhood home, Joseph and Emmas first home as well as the priesthood restoration site. After all of our touring we went to a local place for dinner. It was in a lady’s barn and it was the cutest place ever!! I loved the atmosphere and how cute it was. The barbecue food was so yummy too, including their pumpkin bread was amazing!!
