Another baby to love

It's official, last week we went to the doctor and got to see our beautiful baby. I am 12 weeks pregnant and SO excited to have another baby to love. The boys are so excited to get to have a baby to hold. Kyson is OBESSED with babies, it will be so fun to see him as a big brother. They will both be great big brothers. We should find out in about a month or two if it's another boy or a girl. Either way is fine by me, I am just excited to have another baby to love and be in our family!! We love you baby!!

A night with the monster trucks

The monster trucks have become a family tradition for us. We ride the train down and see the monster trucks. This year was Ky's first time going and he was SO EXCITED to ride the BIG TRAIN. My mom and dad got to go down with us this year too. It was such a fun night. The only bad part of the night was we missed the train on the way home by like five minutes so we had to sit on the frontrunner for an hour before we even got to head home. The boys were beyond tired, but overall they were such good boys!! It was a fun night.

This one was Tegan's favorite. My dad had brought some extra ear plugs and they were orange. Tegan would hold them up to his forehead when this truck came out so he looked like he had horns like El Toro Loco. It was pretty cute!!

WE LOVE THE PACKERS

This super bowl was AWESOME!! We were so excited that the packers were in it. We had our usual super bowl party up at Zac's parents house. Tate made a way cute Packers cake. The best part of the night was that the packers WON the game, it was AWESOME!! We love the PACKERS!! Zac was so happy, it was fun to have our team in the super bowl, it made it that much more fun to watch!!

A couple of years ago we flew out to Green Bay to watch the packers play. It was such an awesome trip. We got to tour the stadium, go to a game and visit Dan and Tara (which we miss tons). It was such a fun trip. We love the packers!!

We always joke that we are going to move to Wisconsin, but secretly I think I would LOVE it, it is beautiful there!!

Circus Night

We took the boys to the circus at Weber County Fairgrounds. It was a little ghetto but for the price you couldn't beat it. We got to sit on the second row and the boys LOVED it. Zac and I kept laughing because the same two guys did pretty much every act, but it was still fun to go see. The last act they brought out the motorcycles to ride in the cage ball and when they had four going at one time I couldn't help but tape it (I honestly didn't know you aren't supposed to video tape it opps) The motorcycles ended up crashing and after the show was over they announced overhead that if you had a video of the crash please bring it to the floor and we wouldn't get in trouble. So I took it down there and they were super nice. While we were waiting for them to download the movie they let the boys play on the blow up playground and go for a pony ride (which you had to pay extra for, but we got it for free). The boys were in heaven. The whole time Ky was on the pony he kept saying "yee ha" It was well worth video tapping it and breaking the rules, even though I had no clue I was breaking the rules ha ha. It was a way fun family night!!

Jesus wants me for a SUNBEAM...

Yesterday was Tegan's first day of Sunbeams. It was pretty rough for him. He cried seriously almost the whole time until they colored in class and then he thought it was pretty cool. Let's hope next week will be a little better. On the way home he was so mad, he was telling us this big story that the kids in the nursery were being mean to Ky and he wasn't there to tell them to be nice to his brother (not sure how he knew that since he wasn't in there, but whatever). : ) It's so cute how he loves to watch out for Ky, but we had to explain to him that Ky needs to take care of himself sometimes and it's okay that he is in the nursery by himself. I think he looks so cute in this suit. I couldn't resist getting it for him, he looks so grown up in it.

Christmas Morning

Kids make Christmas morning worth it. I LOVED their faces when they walked out and saw what Santa brought for them. Kyson immediately ran over to his tool bench and would not stop playing with it. He kept making it saw the boards and drill the holes. He didn't care about anything else. Tegan kept saying, "Kyson I am opening another present" He didn't really care though. Tegan was really worried that he wasn't going to get his "big huge" semi truck because he only told Santa about a dump truck and lots of cars. Santa called on Christmas Eve and he was certain to make sure Santa knew he wanted his "big huge" semi. The next morning it was so cute, when he opened it he said to Zac, "See dad, see dad I told you, I told you this is the one I wanted" (with a huge smile on his face) It was pretty dang cute!! We had such a good Christmas, thanks Santa!!

California Trip

Our trip was so much fun!! The boys did so AMAZING during the car rides. We bought portable DVD players for the ride and it was TOTALLY worth it. Thanks so Buzz Lightyear (for Tegan) and Bob the Builder (for Kyson) the ride was great. I was so worried it would be a bad drive, but the boys were SO GOOD!! We did so much fun stuff and had such a good time.

About half way through the trip Tegan and Zac got SO SICK, they both got strep throat!! My brother was able to get them some antibiotics thankfully, but I felt so bad for them. For as sick as they were, they still were great sports and tried to make the trip fun.

Poor Tegan got so sick while we were at Disneyland, he kept telling us his teeth hurt and he would point to the roof of his mouth for us to look at it, but we couldn't see anything. He tried to be a good sport the whole time at Disneyland, but the ride back to the condo he was MISERABLE!! He broke out in really bad fever and looked so sick!! The next day we just stayed in the condo the whole day and let him rest and Zac just kept saying how crapy he was feeling. That night he broke out in a really bad fever and was MISERABLE too. It's hard watching them feel like crap and not being able to make them feel better. Scott got them on antibiotics (Thanks so much Scott) and today Tegan told me "Mom, I am just almost better" but Zac has now broke out with cold sores all over in his mouth. It looks so SORE!! I feel so bad for him.

Overall it was a really fun trip though, even if they were so sick, it didn't stop them from having fun!!

I loved that everywhere was decorated for Christmas, this definately is the best time to go to Sea World and Disneyland, it was awesome!! There was hardly any people too, it was great!!

All the fun wore them out and this is about the time Tegan started to get sick. He was begging me to lay down the stoller and let him sleep (poor Teg). Good thing we took our stroller for them to take a nap in, it came in pretty handy!!

We got to see Santa's Reindeer

I had to take this picture, Disneyland had a Christmas parade with all the characters and Kyson was so cute. When the parade started he got SO EXCITED and just kept waving to everyone and he smiled this big just about the whole time. Buzz even pointed right at him when he passed it was pretty cool.

It wouldn't be a trip to Cali if we didn't see the Angels stadium (our favorite baseball team). We were sad the season is over, but maybe one day Zac will get to see them play in person.

I was so excited Scott and Sandra were able to come and spend the weekend with us. We don't get to see them very much since they live in Arizona. It was fun to get to spend some time with them again. Here they are outside of the Temple.

This is what happens when you make a two year old ride in a car for 7 hours straight, thank goodness we stopped in St. George both there and back. It was a good break for the boys.

It's sad our trip is over, but it's good to be home!!
