Beckem Comp Basketball

Beckem started on a Comp basketball team with all of his friends from school. They are such a good little team. They are fun to watch.  GO BEES!!

These boys are all Tegans age and they were SO CUTE, every time Beckems team scored they would cheer so loud and jump up and down. One time I heard one of the boys say, “inspirational, they are truly inspirational” it was so cute to watch these teenage boys cheer on their little brothers. Such good kids!! 

Perspective of Time

One day after Beckems basketball game all the boys were talking to Zac about basketball and Zac was telling him about when he was on a basketball team.  The boys asked was it fun to play basketball when he was a kid and if it feels weird to remember when he was a kid. Zac said actually boys it feels like it was just yesterday.  The older I’m getting the faster time is going.  Then immediately Kyson said “yeah well when you’re waiting to be a dad time goes so slow. It feels like I will never be a dad” we just laughed and told him not to wish his life away. 

Kyson has always been so excited to be a dad. Can’t wait to see him have kids but until then, we are loving watching him learn and grow. 

Happy Halloween

This year we were not sure what trick or treating would look like, but to our surprise, there were still PLENTY of people out trick or treating.  We took Beckem and Boden down to Remuda trick or treating.  Kyson and Tegan stayed and went around our neighborhood.  After we got done trick or treating we took the younger boys up to Diana and Jerry's for chili and donuts.  It was a fun night!!  

After I showed this picture to Boden, he said "I should have done my hair before I went to her house" ha ha Him and Payton are such cute little friends.

Gosh I love this man.  I seriously love every minute I get to spend with him.  We have such a good time together and he truly is my best friend!!  

We ran into Krystal and the kids in Remuda so we finished trick or treating with them. 

Tegan and Kyson were out for about four hours.  They got SO MUCH candy!!  I seriously love it, it's the best part of Halloween and great memories!!  

Rogers Family Halloween Party

Another great year at the Rogers family Halloween party.  

Zac thought he was so funny, he was freaking me out in that mask.  Old or young, I still think he is the sexiest man I have ever met!!  

Meeting Riggs Colt Kapp

When Riggs was born, Kyson was sick so he didn't get to come seeing him.  Last Sunday we went out to visit and Kyson wanted to come with us.  He was SO EXCITED to hold him.  We love baby Riggs!!  

Halloween Bunko

Bethany's bunko group needed a sub so I offered to go play.  It was such a fun night with lots of laughs that I needed desperately.  I forgot that Jillian loves Halloween so I should have known better than to go to her house.  When we first got there she took us on a tour of her new home.  We went to the basement and there was a baby carriage sitting there with balloons tied to to.  Corby was wondering what that was there for and went closer and then Jillian's mom slowly came out from behind the furnace dressed in a scary black costume.  We FREAKED out and ran upstairs.  We thought that was her scare for the night but we should have known better.  We were playing bunko and having a great time.  At about 9:30 at night a firework went off (we thought it was a gun shot) and the power of the house went out. Everyone was screaming and trying to hide.  I just put my head down on the table and just froze.  Bethany finally yelled at me to get on the floor with her.  Right then, scary kids started pounding on the windows saying, let me in.  I just held on to Bethany and cried.  I seriously HATE to be scared!!   I HATE that part of Halloween.  After it was all said and done we could not stop laughing, but at the time it was FREAKING SCARY!!  The last scare of the night was when we went to leave, Jillian's husband had put firecrackers under our tires.  It sounded like gun shots when we pulled out of the driveway.  It was SUCH A FUN night, but I will NOT be going back to Bunko in October ha ha  I seriously love hanging out with these girls, they are SO MUCH FUN!!

Black Eye

The day we got home from fall break Beckem and Tegan were playing on the tramp.  They started to wrestle and Beckem elbowed Tegan in the eye.  It instantly swelled up and started to bruise.  We were supposed to get family pictures in a couple of days. . . yeah we had to change those plans.  

I felt so bad for him, it looked so sore :(
