Flooding in Farr West??

So this morning I was woken up to Tegan saying, "Mommy will you change me because we are soaking wet and we are freezing" I realized Tegan and Kyson were standing there soaking wet from head to toe. I asked what they were doing. Tegan said, "Well mom, we got into the treat cupboard and got into the cheese and crackers. After we got cheese all over our hands we were washing our hands off and now we are soaking wet" I jumped out of bed and ran into their bathroom where the water was still on full blast and they had pulled the sink plug up. There was water EVERYWHERE!! I should have taken a picture but I was crying and freaking out a little bit. There was so much water from floor to ceiling and it had gone out into the hall and even into their room. The carpet was sloshing when you walked on it.

I started crying and cleaning up the mess and the boys just kept saying "We are sorry mommy, we are sorry" As I was cleaning up the bathroom they were sitting in the puddle in the hall and all the sudden I heard Tegan start saying, "this little piggy went to the market, this little piggy stayed home..." followed by the cutest giggle ever from Ky. I couldn't help but smile and love to hear them giggle. It was quite the event to clean up!! My mom brought her carpet cleaner down and we sucked probably about one 1/2 gallons out of just the hall carpet and I am sure we could still get more.

Zac called as soon as he got my text and he asked if it got in the basement. Well I hadn't even thought to check down there. So I made my way downstairs and sure enough, everything was SOAKED!! So I texted Zac to tell him more news...

Zac called on his lunch and said, "Babe, it's okay it could be a lot worse. Just be grateful our basement isn't finished because if it was it would be a nightmare, but it's not so it's okay. Kids will be kids and you are tried and things just happen. I will just finish cleaning everything up when I get home" Seriously, this man deserves a gold chair in Heaven. He is SO PATIENT and always looks at the better side of things. I am so grateful I have him, he is so good to us!!

Well, needless to say four hours later I kind of have my house back together beside the eight loads of laundry I need to do of wet towels, but that will get done eventually.

Most people are worried about all the water this year and their houses flooding, but unfortunately for me I should just worry about my children flooding my house. Boys will be boys I guess...and I am having another one : ) I guess that's what I get for working 60 hours a week, NIGHT SHIFTS (thanks to stupid benefits for screwing up my hours that were rightfully mine), trying to finish up my bachelors program, being pregnant and being a mother. One day things will slow down a bit I hope but until then....here's to the next adventure.

Not ready yet...

This pregnancy has been an exciting one for sure. From unknown fevers, being on multiple antibiotics, getting pneumonia, having to start progesterone shots to try to prevent him delivering early (Which I have to say, they HURT so bad for at least three days. One just heals and stops hurting and it's time for another one again) and then our next adventure started on Saturday. . .

I started contracting about every three to five minutes. I got in a bath, tried to take a nap with the boys, drank plenty of water and they just kept coming and were hurting so bad!! I wasn't really worried at first because this has happened with all my pregnancies, but by the time we got to the hospital I was contracting every minute. I started to get a little worried because the thought of them not being able to stop them freaked me out. The nurse ended up giving me the dreaded drug that makes me feel like I am on speed and my contractions finally stopped. My doctor sent me home with a prescription to take at home if I start contracting again. I am just so worried because I have delivered earlier and earlier every pregnancy, I just hope I don't deliver too early with this little man. I only had to take my pills one other time the next morning but nothing since then, thank goodness. I just need to remember to take it easy and try to keep him in there as long as possible.

The hilarious part about the whole thing this weekend is when the nurse was getting ready to send me home she was going over my instructions and she said, (with a straight face) "now until you see Dr. Seale next you need to be on pelvic rest (meaning, no pelvic activity)" Ha ha some people get put on bed rest, but of course I get put on pelvic rest. After she walked out, me and Zac just looked at each other and started to laugh. It's not funny that my preterm labor is already starting, but we I thought that part was pretty funny.

I am just scared because my preterm labor started about 30 weeks with Tegan, 28 weeks with Kyson and now I am only 27 weeks : ( Stay in there little buddy, it's way too early for us to meet you now. : ( Hopefully I won't have any more contractions until mid August.

Preschool Graduation

Tegan graduated from 3 year old preschool yesterday. I have LOVED his preschool this year. He has learned so much and he has LOVED going. Teacher Sue is so good with all the kids. I am excited for him to go there again next year. For his graduation we all met together at the school cafeteria and ate lunch and then we went to the classroom for the program.

For the program the kids sang some of their favorite songs, we got to watch a movie of all the kids pictures from the whole year and then Teacher Sue presented them with their certificates. Zac got work off yesterday because of all the rain so he got to go with us, Tegan was so excited. Way to go buddy on your big graduation it's been so fun to watch you learn and grow this past year. You are so smart and you just keep getting smarter everyday. Love ya tons Teg!!

Fun Family Night

I was supposed to work until nine on Saturday night, but they only needed me to work until five. I was so excited to get to come home and spend time with my boys. We decided to do something fun as a family. We took the boys over to Toads indoor mini golf. It was so much fun. The boys have never been mini golfing before and they LOVED it!! I am pretty sure Ky is a lefty when it comes to golf. He did SO GOOD when he hit left handed. My battery was dead so I didn't get any pictures but they were so cute.

After mini golf, we were walking out and Zac made us stop so he could play the dunk game. He mentioned he used to hold the record and wanted to see if he could do it again. (He is a FREAK when it comes to arcades, he is worse than the boys). There was a big and a little dunk game so the boys wanted to play too. Well, Zac can't just play once, he had to play until he got the record. Six or so games later, he got the record. In the mean time each boy was freaking out because they wanted to do something different. It's was ridiculous. Note to self, keep Zac away from arcades!!

After we finally got out of there we went to country boy dairy and let the boys get whatever ice cream they wanted. They loved it. On our way home we went and rented a movie and we all had a sleep over in the bonus room. It was such a fun family night. It was so much fun to see the smile on the boys faces the whole night. I LOVE being together as a family!!

Baby Bumps

I am so excited that Justin and Nicole's little man is almost here. They are going to be the best parents ever. I made Nicole do a baby bump picture a little while ago because if she goes early I didn't want to miss our chance to get a picture together. Look how stinkin cute her belly is. It's pretty sad that I am only 23 weeks in this picture and she only has about FIVE weeks left, I guess that's what happens on your third baby, but what do ya do. She looks so good!!

Look how cute these little shoes are for Ky. I have never seen bowling shoes that little before, I LOVED them!!
