Beckem’s First Trip to the Temple

Beckem has been counting down the day that he finally got to go in them temple.  We didn’t have an appointment and when we got to the Ogden temple, there was a very large ward that had an appointment so they wouldn’t let us in.  Beckem was so sad, he wanted to do baptisms so badly.  We decided to hurry up to Brigham City temple and see if we could get in there.  They were so kind and were able to squeeze us in.  Beckem completed his first session of temple work and loved every minute of it.  After the temple we went to Wingers for dinner.  I love spending one on one time with my boys and getting to know them better.  We are blessed to get the opportunity to raise four amazing boys!!  I hope they continue to love the temple and return often throughout their lives.  

So awesome that Zac built this temple and now my boys can go in and see what their dad did to build a temple for the Lord.  

 

Thomas Family Dinner

While Scott was here visiting my mom planned a dinner with our whole Thomas family.  It was great to see everyone again and visit with everyone.  I don’t get to see that side of the family very often, so it was good to seem them all again.  We had some great laughs.

Ruby and Shaylee are the best of friends.  It’s cute to watch them run around together and discover the world.  

 

Pizza Pie Cafe

One afternoon and evening Rozlyn wanted to hang out with me and the boys.  She came with us to Beckem’s basketball game and then we went out to dinner to Pizza Pie Cafe.   I love how Roz just naturally feels like a daughter to us.  I love all the time we spend together.  

 

Skiing with the Family and Rogers Family Visit

Justin and Nicole were taking Jake and Addi skiing and asked Beckem if he would go with them.  Scott and Krystal were also going up and at the last minute Grandpa decided he wanted to go up so he took Boden with him.   They had a fun together.  So grateful for Grandpa and the time he takes to take my boys up skiing.

Scott brought his girls up to visit our house and they LOVED the geckos.  Stella loved them most.  It was fun to watch them play with the geckos and hold them.  We loved having them over.  

 

Four Rogers Siblings

Scott and his family came up from Arizona for a week.  We had Sunday dinner at Grandma and Grandpas and had a great time getting pictures together.  We may not be the perfect family, but it was nice to be together again and laugh with each other.  I am blessed to have great people in my life.

National Sales Meeting 2023

We had our National Sales Meeting in Tampa.  It was a long week away from my family. . . I had to be there for 6 days, but it was fun to see all the other clinical educators in person again.  

Craig has a tradition that every time we go out to eat, he tells the waitress that it’s someone’s birthday so they can have free dessert. . . Casey was the one we celebrated at dinner.  I have been moved to the pediatric team this year and Casey is our leader, she is so fun to be around and is a great leader for our team!!  

The last night they had our teams pick team costumes.  The pediatric team decided to be legos (I was the lego man).   We were the “new kids on the block” “building a better pain management for children”. 

 

Hanging Out With Trey

We were sitting in church and Kyson leaned over and asked me what time Trey had church. I told him it was during our church time and he said dang it. I asked him why and he said “because I want to hang out with Trey” I told him to text Krystal so he did and he asked her if Trey could come up and hang out after church.  Trey was SO EXCITED to come get some boy time and hang out with Kyson.  I love that Kyson is such a good friend to Trey and gives Trey someone to look up to.  They are cute little buddies!!  

 

Ogden Temple With My Sister

I was on my way to the gym at 5 am and I got a text from Krystal asking if I would go to the temple with her.  I was SO EXCITED.  I got done at the gym, got my boys up and off to school and we headed to the temple.  I love that my sister is a spiritual giant and helps me grow stronger to my Savior.  I am so lucky to have her as my sister. . . She is pretty freaking awesome!!  

We went and colored my hair after so don’t mind the major grow out and gray hair ha ha 

 

Beckem’s and Tegan’s Priesthood Advancement

Beckem was ordained in the office of a Deacon and given the aaronic priesthood, he can’t wait to be able to go do baptisms now 

Tegan was advanced to a priest.  How are they growing up so fast!!
