Beckem Turned 5

I can't believe how fast this little man is growing up.  He had his 5th birthday and he was SO EXCITED for the day to finally get here.  

 All he wanted for his birthday was a skateboard. .  . he was so excited to finally be a real skateboard guy

 Zac made him green pancakes at his request 

 He decided he wanted to go to Kangaroo Zoo for our family activity. 

Such a fun day to celebrate our Beckem!!  Happy 5th Birthday Buddy!!

First Day of School

Tegan is a big 4th grader now.  I can't believe how grown up he is looking.  He was so excited to start school.  It was a fun morning.  

Tegan's teacher this year is Mrs. Mkina

 Kyson was also excited to start 2nd grade.  He had Mrs. Beyer for two years in a row so this year will be a new experience with new teachers.  

For 2nd grade his teachers are Mrs. Nishikawa and Mrs. Minnioch.   

I love that these two are such good buddies.  It makes it easier to go to school when you have your best friend go with you everyday :) 

Good Times with Our Grandpas

I LOVE going to lunch with "Thomas" it's such a great way for us to spend time with him.  The kids LOVE being with him just as much as I do.  

The boys love spending time with Grandpa Rogers on the golf course!! 

My Handy Man is at it Again. . .

I mentioned that I really would like to change the layout of our Master bathroom and the next thing I knew my handy man was going to work to do just that.  

 Zac had his little helper right by his side.  Kyson put on his belt and tucked all of Zac's tools in his belt and then handed him the tools as he needed them.  I heard Kyson tell Zac, "I love to watch you work dad.  I want to be a worker guy when I get big"  I just smiled. . . I love the example Zac is to our four boys!! 

 I thought this was bad. . . and then. . . it got bigger. . . 

 He had to move all the plumbing, the air conditioning and the electrical.  

It's starting to look like a bathroom again.  Can't wait to see the final project.  I LOVE how handy my man is. . . and how patient he is with all my ideas!! 

July Fun

 Grandma and Grandpa came down to watch fireworks with us on the 24th of July.  We bought an aerial firework and it blew up and went off everywhere.  So glad no one got hurt, but it was quite the show : (

Proud Mommy Moments

I came home from work one morning to this sweet note after my graduation.  It seriously melted my heart!!  I love him so much. 

Another long night at work and I came home to this sweet note from Tegan.  It makes everything in life so worth it!!
