Pinewood Derby

Tegan was so excited for his first pinewood derby.  Zac and Tegan worked for hours on his car.  He could hardly wait.  He got a calendar in December and counted down each day for the derby to finally be here.  It was so fun to see everyone's cars and the creativity. . . from all the dad's I am sure ha ha.  Such a fun night!! 

Monster Jam 2016

We didn't tell the boys that we were going to Monster Jam until the morning of Monster Jam.  They were SO HAPPY!!  Teg had a basketball game and then we told them we were going.  We went to Jerimiah's for breakfast, stopped at Walmart and got a new monster truck for everybody and then headed to the train. 

Such a fun family day together!!  

Utah Jazz Dunk Team

 

On Friday night Weber High played against Fremont.  Our good friend Benson Beus is on the Utah Jazz dunk team.  We were so excited to go watch a good basketball game and see the dunk team.  The boys could hardly wait.  Tegan loved watching the players and learning from them how to improve in his basketball game.  The dunk team did a great show.  The boys got to go back after and meet the dunk team and they even got shirts from them as well.  Benson is the best!!  Fremont and Weber played such a great game.  They were neck and neck the whole game.  Weber ended up winning by three.  I lost my voice I was screaming so much.  It was such a fun night with our family and Kaylee and Benson. 

 

After we got home Tegan was jumping off my bed pretending he was on the dunk team.  It was awesome.  Maybe one day he will be on the dunk team, who knows.  :)

Sundays

I love Sundays.  I love having a day to regroup my focus in life and give me a day to remember the Eternal picture.  I try to do this each day, but Sundays just give me the extra boost for the week.  I love it!!  I am so grateful for the gospel and the foundation it gives me throughout my life.  We talked about Lehi's dream today and how Satan tries to tempt us everyday.  The point of this life is to learn and grow and find our way back home.  I love trials and successes we have to help us grow.  This life is truly amazing!!  I found this quote and I have really tried to remember this each day because really we are all on a journey to make it back home!! 

Tegan Started Basketball

Tegan started basketball last week. His first game he scored 8 of the 12 points.  He was on FIRE!!  We are so proud of him.  I love watching my boys learn and grow.  It is so much fun!! 

Our Big Sunbeam

 This handsome man is no longer in nursery.  He had his first day of sunbeams today.  He was so excited.  It's so weird that we no longer have kids in nursery.  Our kids are growing up so fast, but I am LOVING watching them grow.  They are such fun boys!!

Addi turned 3

I have the cutest nieces in the entire world.  I love them so much.  Addi turned three yesterday.  My parents gave her this dress that sings and lights up.  She got her microphone and was singing "Let it Go" it was so adorable!!  I just love these kids!!  Happy Birthday Addi Girl!! 

Happy New Year

We have had such fun New Years Eve the past two years.  The adults go to the movies and dinner and then all families meet back at the Bolos house to PARTY for New Years.  This year was a little different.  We have had so much sickness spread through our house in December.  We went to the Instacare 7 times and the ER once all in one month.  Let's hope next month is better for our family.  We have had pinworms, strep throat, pink eye, a second go around of strep throat and more pink eye.  Beckem got stitches in all that mess as well. 

 

New Years Eve morning Kyson woke up with pink eye.  He was SO SAD we couldn't go play at Dave and Bre's.  He kept begging me all day to go party but we didn't want to spread it to other kids.  Zac and I still went to the movies with Dave and Bre but then we just went and picked the boys up and went home.  I didn't want the kids to get more sickness so I told them at 10:00 it was a new year, they went out and banged pots and pans together yelled HAPPY NEW YEAR and we were all in bed by 10:30.  Ha ha we are such lame parents.  I am just so OVER having sick kids.  It seems like every time we stay up late they get sick.  I just hope we can all be healthy and sickness free in January.

Sunday School Celebration Party

Zac and I have LOVED teaching Sunday School the last three years.  We were the teachers for the 14 and 15 year old kids.  They were so dang fun!!  We got released this past week, but had one more party to celebrate the fun times we had with our kids.  We had pizza at the church and played dodge ball.  It was so much fun.  We have such great youth in our ward.  I LOVE them all!!
