Memorial Day Swim Party

On Memorial Day we had  swim party and celebrated Rozlyn's 1st Birthday.  It was so much fun to have everyone over and just hang out while the kids had a blast in the water.  My whole life we have always had a barbecue at Grandma Rogers house on Memorial Day and now that she has passed away we have been kind of lost on Memorial Day.  I think we are going to start a new tradition to have a swim party at my house. It was a blast to hang out.  Rozlyn was so cute to watch in the water, she LOVED it!!  Happy Birthday pretty lady!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tooele Army Depot-Uncle of the Year

My cousin Dallin had his homecoming today in Tooele.  I had never been down there before.  When church was over I called Uncle Justin to see if he was working.  He works at the Army Depot as a firefighter and we have never made it down to see his work.  Luckily he was working so we went and got the grand tour of the fire trucks and equipment.  It was so much fun.  He drove us around in the ladder truck, the two other fire trucks, showed us the whole suit they have to wear to put out fires and even let the boys spray the water.  It was such a fun day.  I wish we could have stayed longer, but we had to get home, but the boys LOVED the time they got to spend there.  Uncle Justin is now Uncle of the year in their eyes.  Thanks Uncle Justin, you are our hero!!

School's out celebration

After Tegan got done with his first day of first grade we loaded, went and picked up Jake and headed to the splash pad.  We got to the Riverdale park only to find out they hadn't turned on the water yet.  The boys were still excited to play on all the play sets they have there.  So we just went from one play set to the next.  The boys had a blast.  The night school got out the boys said they wanted to have a sleepover with Grandma and Grandpa.  My mom was so excited that they wanted to celebrate with her so she came and got them and had a fun night playing games.  On Saturday we celebrated as a family by going to Get Air and out for some dinner.  It was such a fun night, I am actually excited to have summer here so we can sleep in and just play all day.

Rozilyn's 1st Birthday

Rozlyn's 1st birthday was on the 22nd.  We celebrated with her at the zoo.  We are going to have a big party with everyone on Memorial Day but on her actual birthday we spent time with her.  She is so much fun and growing up so fast!!  I felt bad, Tegan was up the night before complaining of an ear ache but by morning he said he was fine.  When we got down to the zoo he looked so miserable and just sat in the stroller.  About 10 minutes into the zoo he was crying and begging for me to take him home.  So I left my three boys with my mom at the zoo and ran Tegan to the instacare just down the street.  He has an eardrum infection and was given some antibiotics along with some Tylenol and Motrin to fight his fever.  By the time we got back to the zoo he was a whole different kid.  They were just at the reptiles when we got there so we ran to catch them because that is really the only thing Tegan cares about at the zoo.  He LOVES all reptiles.  I was so glad to see him feeling better.  It was a fun day with Roz.

Kyson's Graduation

 

 

 This is Kyson, Kash and Carter.  Kyson loved playing with these two boys at school.  They are such fun boys!!

My Kyson is now a preschool graduate.  It's such a bitter sweet time because I am so excited for him to go to kindergarten and get to ride the bus everyday with Tegan, but we will miss Teacher Sue so much.  I am actually debating sending Beckem just so he can have something to do and because I love Teacher Sue so much.  She is so dang cute to the kids and is such a fun teacher.  Kyson is so excited to move on but has already said a few times how much he misses Sue : )  His graduation was such a fun day.  We went a played at the "fishy" park and then headed back to school for all the fun.  Kyson sang all the songs and did great at his performance.  He is such a good kid, I just love to watch him smile and enjoy the attention.  Kindergarten here we come : )

Puppy love

The day before Easter I get a text from Zac, "Happy Easter?" and a picture of a puppy.  I immediately wrote back, "no not happy easter, we are not getting a puppy"  we continued to text back and forth and finally I said, "okay we can just go look at them" Yeah, we ended up getting not one puppy but TWO.  We have felt so lost without our Boba around and I think the boys just need to have a dog.  We decided to get two so they wouldn't be lonely and they would have a friend.  I was SO WORRIED about it and NERVOUS but it hasn't been too bad.  They are such cute dogs and the boys LOVE having them around.  Welcome to the family Blue and Lucky : )
