Day Nine-Heading Home

After a very busy, long but fun trip it was time to head home.  We got all packed up and headed out.  The boys did so well on the drive home.

When we got to St. George we stopped for dinner at Chili's and then we decided instead of unpacking everything and staying at the condo we would just drive the rest of the way.  13 hours total of driving for the day and we were finally home.  I was so impressed with the boys, they were SO GOOD the whole way home.  They are such troopers.

Zac took this picture while Bo and I were sleeping.  Bo looks so dang cute.  This was about an hour of sleep for him and other than that, this kid didn't sleep at all.  He was bright eyed the WHOLE way home.   We got home at about one in the morning and I got Bo changed and put him in his crib and he was still jumping and singing in his crib for about another 30 minutes.  Let's just say, it caught up with him, he crashed the next day.
On the way home we saw a shooting star and I thought for a minute and then I told Zac, what do you do if you don't have anything to wish for.  I seriously am so blessed in so many ways and I couldn't ask for anything more in my life. I am one lucky girl!!
It was such a fun trip!!  Sad for it to be over, but good to be back home and into our routine.  Until the next family road trip. . .

Day Eight-Coronado Island

Since we spent the night changing sheets and washing puke clothes we just hung out in the condo and relaxed most of the day.  I was feeling so worn out and Bo just slept for a long time.  Zac took Teg and Ky down to the pool to swim while I layed down with Beck and Bo for nap time.  It was so nice to get a little nap in.  By the afternoon we were so sick of doing laundry and being in a one bedroom condo with six people so we went for a drive.  I had heard about Coronado Island so we went and checked it out.  It was pretty, the sand was amazingly soft, but it wasn't as pretty as I expected it to be.  Maybe it's a lot better in the summer, but Zac and I looked up the price of one of these cottages to rent for a night and they were anywhere from $1200-$4400 a night.  CRAZY town!!  It was fun to see it though.
Oh I love these four crazy little littles : )
Each cottage had it's own private pool and hot tub along with an outdoor fire pit so you could enjoy the warmth while watching the sunset.
There was a guy there that had built two of these amazing castles.  The sand was so so I don't know how he did it, but it was cool to see.  My boys don't know the definition of hold still though so we couldn't stay there very long or else one of them would have destroyed this mans great work.

I love, love, love this picture, they are all such good buddies.  I am so blessed!!
We went back to the condo and hung out but we can't make a trip to California without Zac getting some doughnuts from Winchell's.  He is a freak when it comes to doughnuts, I love it!! Zac took Teg and Ky and they went on a doughnut run at about 9:00 at night.  I am telling you, he is crazy about his doughnuts ha ha

Day Seven-Sea World

We were surprised when we looked at the schedule for Sea World and it didn't even open until 10.  We were so used to being up and at Disneyland by 8 or 9.  So 10 felt like we were sleeping in.  My parents came over to our condo and hung out for a little while before we all headed over to Sea World.  My boys, especially Tegan was SO EXCITED to see the sharks.  He LOVES sharks.  Sea World was pretty hard because I think my kids were so worn out and the babies didn't really want to sit through the shows.  It was still fun though.  I do have to say though, I was really disappointed in the Shamu show.  They didn't do hardly anything except just splash all the people. Now that they can't get in the water with the whales since that trainer got killed, it's pretty lame.  I was so sad because I have always loved Sea World.  It didn't really help that I wasn't feeling that great either during the day.  That night when we got back to the condo I was throwing up and so was Boden and it continued throughout the night.  Poor Bo threw up about 10 or more times, thank goodness for the washer and dryer in the condos.

These two were playing so cute together with all Tegan's toys.

Beckem loves his daddy!!
(All my boys are daddys boys for sure, they want to be just like him, it's cute)

Day Six-Heading down to San Diego

As we headed out of Anaheim we had to make a stop at the Angels stadium.  The Angels are my favorite baseball team.  I can't wait until one day Zac and I can go to a game together.  I have been to a few Angels games but Zac has never been to a professional baseball game.  Hopefully one day we will get there, they are so much fun!!  While we were just walking around the stadium I told Tegan to get by the baseball and I would take his picture and then all the sudden Beckem says, "Um, don't you want to take a picture of me" and this was his pose when I looked over.  I just cracked up, he is such a poser it's funny!!

We stopped at my favorite beach ever, Huntington Beach.  This place is so pretty and so relaxing.  I would love to live by Huntington Beach and be able to just go play there everyday.  The boys had a blast chasing birds, finding cool seashells and just running in the sand.

As we were walking out we saw this, Zack's Dining.  How perfect that. . . his name is at my favorite beach, my two favorite things in the world : )

While we were out on the pier a gentleman caught a small sting ray.  We watched him reel it in and then I asked him what he did with them since I noticed he had a whole cooler of sting rays and he told me he knew how to cook them up and eat them.  Interesting, but it was cool to see him reel it in.

After the beach we headed down to check in to our condo in San Diego.  My parents did their own thing during the day but when we both got checked in and after I ran to the store to grab some groceries we headed to TGI Fridays for some dinner.  Then all of us just went back to our condo and hung out for a little while.

After my parents headed back to their hotel room and we got the babies ready for bed I took the boys down to the pool.  It was cold outside but the pool was heated and the hot tub was nice and hot.  The boys loved it.  They would swim all day, everyday if they could, but what kid wouldn't want to.  There is something about kids and loving the water.

Day Five-Last day in Disney

Every morning Beckem has to go and see his buddy as soon as he wakes up.  I love these seeing these two together.  They are cute little buddies.

While my dad was in line for the fast passes for the cars ride we decided to wait an hour in line for the ride as well.  We got pretty close to the ride in good time and then all the sudden the ride broke down : (  I wanted to leave, but Zac decided to wait the complete hour in line and if we still weren't on the ride then we would leave.  We waited an hour and ten minutes and it was fixed.  This ride was well worth the wait though, I LOVED it!!

 Flo's Cafe

 These two are such goofballs.

We went and met Lightening and Mater multiple times, the boys LOVED them!!  I loved that they actually talked to us, it was so cute.

This was in the 3D movie for Bugs Life, it was such a cute show.

My parents were troopers and took the older boys on the huge ferris wheel.

This ride was so cute, it was like a huge air hockey table.  It was bumper cars but with air.  You had to lean to make your tire move, it was so funny to watch these guys.

Waiting for the parade in California Adventure
I was amazed at all the Christmas lights on It's a Small World, it looked so amazing.
Tegan wanted to ride Splash Mountain again so bad, he loved that ride.  Since it was our last night my dad was such a trooper and said he would go with the boys on it.  It kind of helped that that ride is also my dad's favorite as well so we really didn't have to convince him very hard to go on it again.  Ha ha.  It was a little chilly and I didn't want to get wet, but grandpa put on his rain coat and headed for the ride.  There was no one in line so they were actually able to go on it three times in a row.  The second time when they got back the lady said, there's no one in line do you want to go again.  They were all for it so she just sent them threw again, they loved it.

While we were waiting we decided to head over and wait in line for Mickey one last time.  When we got over there Mickey's house said it was a 45 minute wait but we decided to go in and see.  There was NO ONE in line, we walked right in and we were the only ones in there to see Mickey.  Beckem LOVED it!!  He looked up at Mickey with the biggest smile and said, Mickey I LOVE YOU!!  Mickey signed back that he loves him too and Beckem said, "Mickey loves me??" It was so sweet.  I was so happy we went over to see him one more time!!  By the time we got done with Mickey my parents were headed to Toon-town with the older boys, we decided to just head to the middle of the park for fireworks and meet up there.

It's so cute, before the fireworks they played a magical song and then the lights came on just a little bit and it was snowing.  It looked so cute.  It's funny because we see snow all the time, but I guess people in California and other parts of the world never get snow for Christmas so it's fun to make it a little more Christmasy with the snow.  I loved the fireworks there, they do such a good job.  It's always so magical!!

After three long busy days we headed back to the condo.  My parents decided to go over to California Adventure to watch the water show one more time.  When we got back to the condo the kids crashed, it was three long busy days for them, but they were so good most of the time.  I was very proud of them.

Day Four-California Adventure

We were able to get 3 day hopper passes, which I was so excited because I had never been to California Adventure.  So, the second day we headed over there to check it out.
It worked out so nice to have my parents with us, because they watched the babies while we went on the rides and then we switched and sat with the babies while they went on the rides.  Tegan and Kyson loved it because that meant twice the rides for them.

The boys with Flick from Bug's Life
 Red from Cars

Radiator Springs or Carsland was by far my FAVORITE part of the trip.  Everything was done so well and I felt like I was actually in the movie.  I felt like I was five years old, I LOVED IT!!  The line for the Cars ride was a 2 hour wait so we decided to get fast passes the next day and ride it then.  The boys LOVED meeting Mator and Lighting.  I loved how they talk to you, it makes it so real.

Later that night we had seen most of California Adventure and the boys wanted to ride some more rides in Disneyland so we headed back over to the other park.  The boys wanted to go on a ride with grandpa and grandma so Zac and I just walked around with the babies.  Right after Beckem fell asleep Micky and Minnie came walking by us and hung out by us for a little bit.  It was so cute to watch them.  I wish Beckem would have been awake to see him, but it was still fun for Zac and I to hang out with the cute couple.
Mickey was being a dork for the camera.
Such a cute happy couple.  I love them!!

This day it was actually windy all day.  The wind calmed down a bit and we were so excited for the fireworks but when it came time for fireworks they actually got cancelled because of the wind.  So we headed over to California Adventure for the water show and after it started about 10 mins into it they cancelled it because of the wind.  Oh well, gotta love mother nature, huh.

Kyson actually fell asleep on the top of the stroller on the way back to the condo.  When he curled up he actually fit perfectly on the top of the stroller. It was so cute.
