Boden is ONE month old...

This past month has felt like a week, it has gone by so fast.  Can't believe one month ago I was in the hospital delivery this little guy.  It's been so fun having him here.  Ever since we had him it feels like our family is more complete.  I love it and I love him so much!!



Mason Boys

My boys love to do anything that their dad is doing.  I went outside the other day and this is how I found Kyson and Zac.  Kyson told me they were just both working on the car.  It was so cute.  Luckily Zac knows a lot about fixing things and hopefully my boys will learn from him and know how to do all that stuff when they get bigger too.

Tegan and Kyson are loving having Beckem to play with now too.  He is finally getting to the age where he can actually play and not just sit and watch.  I hope they always stay good friends.

Sunday dinner at Grandma Rogers

We went to Sunday dinner at my mom and dad's house and Great Grandma Rogers got to see Boden for the first time.  She is so cute to watch when she holds little babies, she just lights up.  Oh I love her so much!!

 On Saturday we went up to the car show at Peach Days.  The boys were so excited to go see all the old cars, but Tegan was most excited to find the super snake.  He thinks when he turns 16 he is getting one to drive, but he better find a good job before then to pay for it ha ha.  Both Tegan and Zac would LOVE to have a super snake.  We have to check out everyone that we see driving around.  I have to admit though, I really do like them too and maybe one day we will have one. 

 Zac started playing in a league for flag football.  It was pretty fun to go watch him play.  He makes a pretty HOT quarterback : )

 On Saturday night we went back up to Peach Days and let the boys do some fun things.  They went on the blow up slide, rode on this little train that a cute grandpa pulled with his four wheeler and they even wanted to go rock climbing.  I thought they would do amazing at rock climbing, but they both got about five or six feet up and chickened out.  I couldn't even get a picture of Tegan it was so quick up and down.  Oh well, they thought it was pretty fun.

Finally going home

The day finally came that we got to bring Boden home (September 6th, 2012).  It was a huge fight and run around at the hospital, but I finally got to bring my baby home.  It felt like it was Christmas day!!  It is so nice to have our baby home and with the whole family!!

Beckem was so cute, he got so excited when he saw him for the first time.  He kept pointing him and smiling really big.  It's so cute, if you ask him where his baby is he just points to him and smiles really big and giggles.  It's so cute!!

Kyson LOVES babies and couldn't get enough of his new brother.  He sat for about an hour and held him and even then didn't want to give him up.

 Boden has been eating really good.  We are hoping he will be coming home soon.

Day Ten

I was really frustrated during the day because Boden has been eating so well, like 2 oz every three hours for all the nurses except for one particular nurse.  This one nurse said he only eats 1 oz for her and she kept saying he is getting really tired.  He pulled his own feeding tube out on his own so she replaced it.  This made me so mad because there was no need to replace the tube, why can't they just go on his own and see what he does??  It's really frustrating, but the his night nures was great and felt the same way about him as we do and said he was ready to come home, so during his feeding his tube "accidentally" came out LOL and we were excited to have him show us what he could do.  The nurse practitioner actually came in at his ten o'clock feeding and said she would be back tomorrow and she would let him go home.  I was SO EXCITED!!  

Kyson's First Day of Preschool

Kyson has been so excited to FINALLY get to go to preschool.  After watching Tegan go for the past two years he has been so ready to go. 

 

Last night he was so EXCITED to get his priesthood blessing for the first day.  He kept telling us all day long, "Daddy is going to give me a blessing on my head tonight" and the minute we got home last night he sat in the chair and folded his arms and said, "okay dad, I am ready for my blessing" It was so cute!!  I am so grateful for the priesthood that Zac holds and the ability he has to give that blessing to our children to help comfort them. 

 

Kyson woke up this morning at 7:00 and came into our room holding his backpack and said, "mom wake up I need to go to preschool"  He was SO EXCITED!!  When we took him up there he wanted to walk in all by himself, but Tegan really wanted to walk him in so we went in today, but then he said all the other days he wants to go by himself.  He is so big and loves it : ) 

Teacher Sue has her work cut out for her this year.  Kyson and Boston are both so busy and energetic.  Teacher Sue told me there are 13 boys and only 2 girls in their class.  She was so sweet she just said, "I think this might be a rowdy bunch this year, but we will have fun"  I love her so much!! If only the boys could have her up to 12th grade, she is so amazing!!
